I was told by my UK dealer (a few weeks ago!) that the heated grips would "be available in December" (2024 I'm assuming!! 🙄)

@Samsgrandad, this is a similar scenario to the screen fiasco. The part numbers were available but the actual parts weren't. I'll keep pestering my dealership but I'm not holding my breath just yet.

Just purchased a Speed 400 today and mentioned the OEM heated grips. On checking for them, it transpires that they have been withdrawn from the accessories list and no supply date available.
Also been in touch with Ultimateaddons re there heated grips and they have no idea if they will work with the Ride by Wire throttle on this bike. They suggested speaking to the dealer, and they didn't know either. (Blind leading the blind).

This is yet another example of the shambles that Triumph have caused by not being in control. I won't ever buy another Triumph Motorcycle. Pee up in a brewery comes to mind.....again

If you find another brand motorcycle that is 100% trouble free let us know.

You are free to categorize my remark as you wish.
The 400 is a first year bike, most people accept there will be issues. This is a Triumph forum. I assume most forum members would think it is not appropriate to bash Triumph in general.
The fact is Triumph reliability is on par with most other manufacturers.

I'm not "bashing" Triumph just giving my thoughts and feelings based purely on my personal experience. If you don't like it then you don't have to read or criticise.

Hello @Carlosfandango . Thanks for sharing your experience regarding the fitting of this item. I have written to Triumph here in the UK asking if this is true about the removal/non availability of their accessory heated grips. I will pass on their reply once received

I have just received this reply from Triumph regarding the OEM heated grips.

Good Morning,

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm the Heated Grips are not yet live stock and are unable to be ordered at this time.

The approximate date they will be made available to order through a dealer is December 2024.
