Anyone know what the torque specs are for the exhaust header nuts? I used 14nm, sealed so far but couldn’t find any information on it anywhere. Getting the O2 sensor wire free from 2 frame locking zip ties inside chassis was TOUGH!

Bit noisy with just rear silencer so fitted db killer now sounds fruity, just right.
Does it come with a db killer or did you use another one? Is it much louder with the db killer? How's the fit? How much does it weigh? How much does the old one weigh?
Hope you don't mind all of the questions. TIA I am seriously thinking of getting one for my 400x.
The question "is it much louder?" was in comparison to stock.

The db killer I brought was from Amazon 42mm diameter and 140mm long, I put it in the rear silencer and secured it with an m6 Allen bolt through the wall of the silencer about 40mm up from the silencer clamp. With the db killer in it gives roughly the same rythemic note just a bit louder, I don’t do noisey exhausts and I think this sounds just right. Fitting the parts takes a bit of wriggling, but not to the degree you’re having to bend anything. Its weight is about 2kg and the old system must be at least three to four times that. I am impressed with the price, quality and fit of it. Like I said, I don’t think there’s a lot of increase in performance, but there’s quite a bit of saving in weight, and it does look nice.

Buzby, thanks for the update. Just got back from looking at mine. I was thinking it might be a proximity switch. And plastic and thought it might be a bad idea having the side stand bouncing against it. Looks like the mounting bracket will keep it from making contact. I might try to rig up a little metal bit with the rubber bumper using the bracket where the cat was attached. Might be a while but if I do I'll post a picture.
BTW your bike is a LOT cleaner than mine at least from what I can tell in those pictures. :)

Ali Express sell a beautiful decat pipe in stainless steel to get rid of the big muffler underneath and the Cat.

This retain the stock chrome covers and can be used with the stock muffler. Works only for the model with One Lambda sensor
Which models use 2 sensors and what models only one.?I ordered the ALI systeem, looks like 3 pieces. Do I need to modify for the sensor at the downpipe ? What happens if you ride without any sensors?

Both models have 1 sensor right where the pipe goes into the head. On the one with 2 sensors you will find the second sensor just before it enters the cat.
this picture shows the location of the first sensor which all bike have.

looking at the left side of the second picture you will notice the the diameter of the pipe increases if there is a second o2 sensor it will be very near that junction. this one does not have a second sensor.

Brought the pipe from Ali express £76 delivered to home address. Quality very good. Bit noisy with just rear silencer so fitted db killer now sounds fruity, just right. Performance wise not noticed a lot of difference. Very impressed View attachment 2037

I am hoping your lead re db killer from amazon, 42 X 140mm.

we will see. in the very near future. I have ordered the Amazon db killer and I'll be plugging it into a speed 400 silencer. (I sold my 400x silencer when I got a LV). I had a LV with their db killer with the cat and it was just a bit louder than stock. I just installed the Ali pipe and it is too loud with the LV. Sooo I am getting a used speed 400 silencer (can't find a 400x) sticking the db killer in it.

I am still a little confused re db killer install. My db killer should arrive tomorrow. Not sure what "silencer means in UK. Is that Appalachian (USA) for muffler? which way does the long db killer extend when installed? Toward the front of bike or to the rear of bike?
About 40mm from which clamp, there are three. Center of clamp or trailing /leading edge / Drill the muffler for 6mm bolt or that center thingy? I have the same decat pipe as shown in your excellent photo. Thanks Buzby, all youins have been so helpful.

Is it loud out the back of the bike, or from under the bike?
Sounds like a silly question, but the noise you may be hearing is the exhaust gas reversion point "rattle" in the down pipe.
So...
If it is loud out the back of the bike, try adding a slightly radiused tube on the stinger out the end of the silencer to direct the exhaust back and down. Easy test with a muffler clamp before having an extension welded on.
If it is loud under the bike, look for the heat signature at the exhaust gas reversion point, and as a test try a fiberglass exhaust wrap at that point. Don't wrap it tight, and hold each end on with safety wire.
If that relieves your ears, you can go back and create a sound/heat shield for that point.
