That looks awesome! I just checked the site and they’re saying it won’t work with a 2025 model due to an extra o2 sensor?
interesting the tecusa site says nothing about the extra o2 sensor

Ah I see, I was on the UK site, didn’t know about the US one. I guess maybe the European bikes have the extra o2 sensor? Either way that’s a killer price and seems to be really high quality

It is easy enough the check for the second sensor on your bike. The first is located just as the pipe comes out of the head, the second is just before the cat. My 2024 does not have the second o2 sensor.

Same as OldGoldie...
I don't understand the technical logic behind their reasoning, maybe they just need more time to test..they did say they were going to produce a cat eliminating down pipe this year..but that hasn't materialised yet...
The cat weighs 7kg...I've lost 3 so far so maybe I won't be in the market!!

Bit noisy with just rear silencer so fitted db killer now sounds fruity, just right.
Does it come with a db killer or did you use another one? Is it much louder with the db killer? How's the fit? How much does it weigh? How much does the old one weigh?
Hope you don't mind all of the questions. TIA I am seriously thinking of getting one for my 400x.
The question "is it much louder?" was in comparison to stock.

The db killer I brought was from Amazon 42mm diameter and 140mm long, I put it in the rear silencer and secured it with an m6 Allen bolt through the wall of the silencer about 40mm up from the silencer clamp. With the db killer in it gives roughly the same rythemic note just a bit louder, I don’t do noisey exhausts and I think this sounds just right. Fitting the parts takes a bit of wriggling, but not to the degree you’re having to bend anything. Its weight is about 2kg and the old system must be at least three to four times that. I am impressed with the price, quality and fit of it. Like I said, I don’t think there’s a lot of increase in performance, but there’s quite a bit of saving in weight, and it does look nice.

Thanks Buzby! that answers my questions. I'd like to shed some weight, maybe run a bit cooler but I really don't want anything louder. BTW the weight loss will help performance.

Buzby, I've got another question for you. What did you or do you have plans for placing a rubber "bumper" for the side stand to rest upon when it is retracted?
TIA

Hi there
With the old exhaust/silencer removed there’s nothing for the side stand to hit. I did notice though that there’s an adjustable brass bolt on the side stand and what looks like a hard plastic block maybe side stand switch housing on frame which seem to come together.

Buzby, thanks for the update. Just got back from looking at mine. I was thinking it might be a proximity switch. And plastic and thought it might be a bad idea having the side stand bouncing against it. Looks like the mounting bracket will keep it from making contact. I might try to rig up a little metal bit with the rubber bumper using the bracket where the cat was attached. Might be a while but if I do I'll post a picture.
BTW your bike is a LOT cleaner than mine at least from what I can tell in those pictures. :)
