Anyone know what the torque specs are for the exhaust header nuts? I used 14nm, sealed so far but couldn’t find any information on it anywhere. Getting the O2 sensor wire free from 2 frame locking zip ties inside chassis was TOUGH!
Don't know about K-Speed but according to LA Fab theirs doesGreetings. I see the Zard full system does not fit with lower engine guard, does the K-Speed full system? thank you
I have the black K-Speed one and sadly had to remove the lower engine guard to fit it because of the slightly more curved/rounded shape of the front.Greetings. I see the Zard full system does not fit with lower engine guard, does the K-Speed full system? thank you
I wouldn’t have thought that you would get away with it for long to be honest, too many NIMBY’s around !. The wheels look great but black ?. should have been gold surely ?.Hi , I’m wondering , I took my muffler off as part of taking rear wheel off to install my rally raid spoke rims. I think it looks great ,any advise on using bike with stock exhaust ,without muffler ,would be appreciated ,please people that know not just hear say ,with respect

I installed mine on a Speed so I'm not sure how much different the fitment is on the scrambler. I removed the split ring sleeve and it has a nice tight fit on the stock cat pipe with no leakage when tightened down. There is adequate clearance between the AEW can and the swingarm on my bike.Hi
I too have purchased a new AEW silencer for the 400x scrambler.
However it won't fit!
I have tried lubricating the pipe that goes to the cat.
But It won't go on!
I noticed there is a split sleeve of tube inside - which i presume is to seal the end where the bolt is - but it all seem s very tight & also close to the swinging arm.
Help appreciated on how you got yours to fit?
I found on the scrambler when the swingarm was fully compressed there was a small interference between the exhaust and the swingarm. this may not apply to the street.Have you find the silencer sits very close to the, swinging arm?
No modification necessary on the Speed. I have about 1/2-3/4 inch clearance between silencer and swingarmHi
Thank you for the,quick reply.
Fit is same on both bikes.
I checked with my vernier, callers and figured out that the, split tube insert would need removal. But wanted to check....
Have you find the silencer sits very close to the, swinging arm?
Did you have to bend the support bracket over a bit?
Those wheels looks fantastic.Hi , I’m wondering , I took my muffler off as part of taking rear wheel off to install my rally raid spoke rims. Hey I took mine off about 500 km ago. No problems. Sounds good when gunning it and think the cat gives it some back pressure if it's needed. I added about 2" of pipe to mine just to get it flush with the heat shieldHi , I’m wondering , I took my muffler off as part of taking rear wheel off to install my rally raid spoke rims. Bad news. I didn't, the silencer is now sitting on a pile of junk.Oldgoldie, how did you increase the clearance?
