Anyone know what the torque specs are for the exhaust header nuts? I used 14nm, sealed so far but couldn’t find any information on it anywhere. Getting the O2 sensor wire free from 2 frame locking zip ties inside chassis was TOUGH!
I shall keep an eye out for thisKeep an eye on these guys, they are developing aftermarket exhausts for the Triumph 400 and will export to India.
According to the video, they will offer full exhaust with Cat delete
British customs just released a slash cut tip, and a slip-on with carbon end cap. Both were not for me, as I bought the Hitchcox which is superior quality IMO.Thanks @RoadTripper, i hadn't came across this one yet.
Unfortunately I don't think its quite what i'm looking for, although it would be cool if they could just sell me the header piece.
Curious, has anyone removed the exhaust and weighed it? While the extra weight is exactly where you would want it to be on the bike dimensionally, I bet more than a few pounds could be shaved by removing the cat and all that extra exhaust stuff.
this might be what you're looking for. If you do/have just replace the header I would like to know what you think, and how much louder. The header in the link is over 10lbs lighter!!it would be cool if they could just sell me the header piece
here's a header pipe that deletes the catDo any of the slip-ons delete the CAT?
From the GOV.UK websiteMOT.... do they even test motorcycle emissions?
From Pune, have deleted the catalic converter.Any ideas for Speed 400 aftermarket exhausts in Mumbai , India?
It is a India specific mudguard.@ScrambledEggs, I do not want to hijack your tread, but does anyone know where I can get that wider rear fender/mudguard section?
400X's endcan was sold as an accessory initially in chrome, atleast in India and this looks like it.Does anyone know who makes the exhaust/muffler in this photo. If I zoom in and squint real hard it almost looks like a Remus symbol on the silencer, but their website shows nothing for the Scrambler 400.
